Guilty pleasures

One of my guilty pleasures: bad TV shows! I watch a lot of series, and although it's kind of hard to admit it, i love watching the most trivial and pointless shows. Of course i follow all the populair shows such as Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, 90210, Dexter, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory and so on, but from time to time i find myself craving for some mediocre soap to watch. I watch spin off's from spin off's and series that have been cancelled due to low ratings.

Below you'll find a list of my current guilty pleasures, all downloadable somewhere on the web.

1. Running in Heels
Marie-Claire magazine is hiring three new interns in New York, who conveniently happen to live in the same appartment. Three young interns, all striving for the same job: yes that does smell like rivalry! Pro: this show gives you a backstage view of what happens at a fashion magazine.

2. The Spin Crowd
This show centers around CommandPR, the PR company of Jonathan Cheban, who you may know from Keeping up with the Kardashians or Khloe and Kourtney take Miami or Kim and Kourtney take New York, ... This guy's a real douche, your typical bad looking rich boy who thinks he's all that. Nothing shocking, nothing innovating, but fun to watch.

3. Kell' on Earth
Remember Laguna Beach? Lauren Conrad got her own show, The Hills, where she befriended long-legged Whitney Port, who got her own show, The City, where she worked at Peoples Revolution, the PR company of Kelly Cutrone, who got her own show, the cleverly titled Kell' on Earth. It's the circle of life.

4. 10 Things I Hate about You
A series based on the movie with Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger. This show got cancelled after only one season, leaving viewers confused over what would happen after the season finale. I only have one reason why you should watch this show: Ethan Peck. 'Nuff said.

Paris photo diary

So I'm back from my traveltale in Paris! The city was covered in snow which made the Christmas-vibe even more tangible. My stay mainly consisted of visiting museums and art centers, but there was some shopping involved.

Our trip almost got extended because we weren't able to drive home because of the snow. After a long stop at a car parking, we got to continue our drive to Belgium. I was so glad to see my bed that night!

Can't believe this weekend it's Christmas. So little time, so much presents to shop.

Life Feed #0

As you are reading this I'm on the road to Paris (yes by bus, ah the horror!) so be sure to drop by on Sunday for the big Paris-update. Have a lovely weekend!

Monday
Decided to trade in my morning class for a slow breakfast with The September Issue, followed by the latest episode of Desperate Housewives. I don't want to spoil anything, so all i can say is this: OMG. Whole lot of drama going on on Wisteria Lane, and than the ending, shocker!

Thuesday
A few weeks ago one of my friends turned 22. As a present I gave her a (selfmade) Free Sushi-coupon, and today we went to redeem it. I had maki rolls with salmon and cucumber, love it! We went to this new place on the South, it's called Kyoto and their prices are really good. The owners don't speak any Dutch wich makes for awkward moments, but they're really friendly and have the cutest little Asian boy who tried to feed me dried grasshopper :/ I thanked politely.

Wednesday
A view from inside the newest museum in Antwerp, the MAS, overlooking part of the harbour of Antwerp. It opens for the public on the 17th of May, so if you're in town by then be sure to check it out!

Thursday
Supercute little bunny hiding in the bushes!

Taylor Tomasi

Meet Taylor Tomasi, previous senior market editor for Teen Vogue and currently style and accessories director for US Marie Claire magazine. She mixes a lot of styles together and clearly likes to play with the feminine/masculine aspect of clothing. Her beautiful red hair is her best accessory.

Travel tales: city d'amour

On Friday I leave for a rather impulsive trip to Paris.
I decided to go so I could do most of my christmas shopping there. So i will def. be stopping by Marc Jacobs and Colette. I'm back on Sunday so expect a lot of pictures.

Do you know more places in Paris that I should visit?
