Press Days a/w 2011 - pt. 1

If only every press day would be like Oona’s. The best brands, lovely people and a great atmosphere: that about sums up my visit to Oona’s showroom in Berchem, Antwerp. Let’s take a closer look at two of the many great brands Oona represents:

1| Forever 21
Oh yes, Oona isn’t only handling PR for one of my newest favourite shops, River Island, but will also take care of all public relations for Forever 21. As I’m sure all of you know, Forever 21 will launch its first Belgian store on the Meir in Antwerp in July. For those who don’t know the store: Forever 21 carries all the latest fashion trends at the greatest value. Perfect for boys and girls who like their share of fast fashion.

The sparkly black dress only costs 32 dollars and the pretty purple skirt is yours for just $15. With prices like these, no one has an excuse to not be on trend anymore!















2| Essentiel
If you know me a bit, you know I’d die for anything Essentiel. It’s by far my favourite Belgian brand and with every collection Antwerp based designers Esfandiar Eghtessadi and Inge Onsea know how to astonish me. Their dresses always have an ethnic and bohemian feel to them and the fabrics that are used are luxurious and comfortable. I think it’s obvious: I’m a fan.

I'm not the only fan: the stylists sure do like their share of Essentiel, just look at all those wooden pegs.

Spend the whole day at the lake barbecuing, drinking Long Island ice teas and fighting off mosquitos. I'm wearing shorts and an oversized top from H&M paired with my new bikini and knitted cardigan from New Look.

I'm busy creating a new layout for this blog, so if you see some weirds changes around here, it's because i'm testing things out. Be sure to drop by when it's all finished!

Sun's been doing the best it can lately, it has been the perfect spring/summer weather for the past weeks now, and i'm really starting to look forward to my laid back relax holiday in Turkey. In exactly a week i'll be sunbathing under a palmtree, sipping cocktails and stuffing myself with delicious food. Of course i'll keep you guys updated about my overseas adventures, so keep in touch.

I'm wearing a sheer dress from Asos with an underdress from H&M underneath it, paired with Asos buckle boots, H&M jewelry and coral nailpolish. Thanks to my photographer Carlijn ;)

Swapt away

As I told you before here, Swapping is a fun, fashionable and eco-friendly way to create a whole new wardrobe. How it works? Come to a Swapping event, trade the clothes you don’t like anymore for new items and leave happy. Easy, right?

These pictures were taking during the Swapping Kick Off last night in Antwerp. It was an evening filled with nice clothes, lots of friendly people, a hair and make-up team and cupcakes. I myself didn’t really fell in love with one of the items the other girls brought with them, but I did have a great evening.
