Denim dog

What I wore to go check out the Stiletto Run last Sunday. Congratulations to Hanan from FashionFabrice for running like a pro and winning a year's worth of free shoes. I'll post a full report about the event later this week (in the meantime, go check out Gilles' post). I'm wearing the most casual Sunday outfit ever: beige chino pants from Zara, plain white shirt and black flats from H&M and a denim jacket from Bershka. My doggy's my best accessory.

Bloggers tea party

What i wore to attend the Tiany Kirilove x Vero Moda a/w 2011 collection launch. It was such a fun event and the collection looked great, but i'll elaborate about that in a next post.

I decided to go Zara all the way this time by wearing my new green blazer and beige capri pants. This was also the first time my new high heeled babies saw the sunlight, they're way more comfortable than they look!

Those of you who follow me on twitter already heard about the big news I received today, i'm still kind of in dubio about it, but when i made my decision for sure, i'll let you all know! Yes i know, this is quite the cliffhanger, sorry.

Be sure to check in later for the Tiany Kirilove x Vero Moda report.

Five things

Have you ever had that feeling of utterly happiness when passing an elderly couple holding hands, when walking past the bakery and smelling the scent of fresh baked bread or when walking through the park and hearing the laughter of little kids play? Seriously, I have this all the time (especially when there’s dogs involved. A cute dog passing by equals me laughing out loud and clapping my hands like a seal). Anyway I thought I’d share some of the random - material - things that caused me to smile this week.

1 - This beauty
2 - Good company on train rides
3 - Kimono's! Seriously, how great are kimono's? Kimono! Funnest word to say. Kimono!
4 - Pretty flowers
5 - My graduation dress. Picked it out weeks ago. All I need do to now is ehmm, graduate.

What random things make you smile?

Analog colours

People often say the way you dress is a reflection of how you’re feeling. I tried going the other way around today. By wearing this bright and colourful ensemble I tried changing my mood from bleh to yey. I’m haven’t been my happy carefree self lately due to huge graduate projects and deadlines. For those of you who, just like me, ever wondered why they call it deadlines, I have the answer: in times of deadlines you literally have no life, my social life? Gone, dead. All I do is work, write, read and sleep. But time’s running out and soon the deadlines will be over! Let’s only hope I made them…

Anyway, enough yammering, let’s talk fashion. I’m wearing the softest silky shirt from H&M Trend which has the best tomato reddish colour. Finally a shade of red I can feel content about. Furthermore I’m sporting my Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats. You’d think them being mice they would feel soft and comfortable (don’t know why you’d think that exactly, but at least mice really do look soft, don’t they? Not sure about the comfortable part but you catch my drift, right?). On the contrary, they hurt like hell. But I just can’t help but smile when I look down at the ground while wearing them. I mean, come on, they’re mice! With pony hair! And whiskers! And they’re from my all-time favourite designer Marc! By Marc! I’ll gladly bite through the pain from wearing them for all that.

I’d like to conclude this post with a little proud announcement: I reached one hundred followers! This calls for a celebration, right? Thanks for all the feedback and compliments, each and every one of them makes me smile.

All that glitters is not gold

So today turned out to be a really sunny day. Too bad no one told me before I got dressed… Anyway, after seeing this jumper on numerous blogs (for example here , here and here ) I decided I really liked it. The silver sweater, a fashion alliteration you just have to have hanging in your closet. So when I went on my daily stroll throughout H&M (yes I do this), I was happy to see the sweater hanging on one of the shopping racks, waiting for me like a well-trained puppy. I’m really kind of a magpie when it comes to all things shiny. Just bought the most amazing sparkly vintage blouse on EBay, which will appear on an outfit post soon. For now, I’ll leave you with these.

P.S. I’d like to thank you for all the sweet comments I’ve been getting on the blog. It’s always stimulating to see you like my posts, so please keep them coming ;)

truly madly deeply

My days in the sun have ended, it's back to real life again. Just four weeks to go untill the end of my internship and just three more weeks to go before I have to turn in my graduate dissertation. Time's flying!

Anyway, here's another outfit I wore during my holiday. I'm wearing my embroided white shorts from the H&M Conscious Collection, an oversized grey shirt by Truly Madly Deeply at Urban Outfitters and a necklace from H&M.

Palmtrees and Pastels

Just a quick post before I'm off enjoying the sun again. These pictures were taken on our way to go have dinner at the hotel. I'm wearing a white cotton dress from H&M, a knitted cardigan from New Look and animal printed sunglasses from H&M. My shoes are Salvatore Ferragamo, wich i love.

Now off you go, to play in the sun. xo.

Sunny snapshots from Turkey

Our first day in Turkey wasn't all that we were expecting. No waking up with the sun in our faces, no falling asleep on the beach with the sound of the waves in the background, not even any tan lines! Because of the cloudy weather on our first day we went straight to the city and dove into the numerous shops that Bodrum has to offer. Here are some snapshots of our first day.
