Life Feed #8
I took the time to wander around town and soak up the sun. Antwerp looks good in the sunshine! (Picture taken on the Groenplaats).
Turns out we left London right before the infamous PANCAKE DAY! How could we?! To make up for it, I treated myself with one of the only things I can actually
cook/scrape together: French toast. Sliced up some strawberries and grapes ét voilà, best breakfast ever!
Probably the most important event of the week: my friend gave birth to the prettiest and tiniest baby girl I’ve ever seen. Her name’s Eleanora and I’m 100% sure she will be the most loved and most spoiled little baby out there! I for one can’t wait to take her out shopping. I’m thinking a tiny fur coat and comfy UGG boots –swoon–.
I met up with Lara from Antwerpenstreetstyle.com, the one and only blog covering Antwerp’s finest streetstyle. We shot some outfit pictures and ended up at Barnini, a cute coffee bar not far from my apartment. I’m sure it’ll become a regular spot from now on, so thanks for introducing me L.! The day after that I met up with Paulien for some quick picture-taking in our neighborhood (where we came across this mint coloured Vespa. Awkward posing needed to be done, obviously.). Plenty more outfit posts to show you guys this week!
I finally ordered a pair of Ash wedge sneakers. After doing a post about them here, they were stuck in my mind – so I caved and went for it. The ones featured in the post were all out of stock (these things go HARD!) but I liked the new Bea model even better. What colour-combination is your favourite? Yellow-camel of coral-camel?
Little over a week to go before the Marni x H&M collab hits the stores. Who’s excited? I know I am! I’ll be REALLY hard to make a selection out of all the things I would love to have, since I’m pretty much in love with the entire collection. Luckily I’m dropping by the H&M showroom in Brussels this Thursday to check out the marvelous Marni merchandise (hello alliteration!) and to try some things on. So who’s up for a little camping trip with me on the Meir next week?
