Hi friends! How are you all doing? Here’s a quick outfit from that time The One Whose Name We Dare Not Speak still acted the way she’s supposed to IN THE MIDDLE OF JULY – a sunny outfit for a sunny shopping spree in the city. Let’s break it down:
Yes, finally! I still can’t believe it took me so long to talk to you guys about my dream bag, but obviously something happened after I first posted about the Balenciaga City
a while back. Doing research, finding stockists and pinning photo’s like a maniac all led to the inevitable: I fell even more in love with it, up to the point that I couldn’t restrain myself any longer so I just went and bought it. I am really happy with the colour, which is called Gris Poivre; it matches perfectly with every item in my wardrobe, it’s neutral but not as harsh as black AND it changes from grey over khaki to brown-ish. Kama chameleon!
THE SHIRT: How I love Zara and its pretty silk shirts! A while back I spotted a crème-coloured shirt, which had an all-over horse print, stand-up collar and rivets on the shoulder parts, but I ended up not buying it. Then at the beginning of the sales, I bumped into this similar one – discounted and with little leopards all over. Winner! Funny thing happened when I was browsing online store SheInside: I stumbled upon the exact horse-printed shirt originally by Zara (which was being advertised with the exact same photos used on the Zara-website). I decided to order it with the help of a little shopping voucher I had lying around, so I’m very curious to see what this garment will look like, both in terms of design and quality. I’ll keep you posted!
Each day the sun decides to shine for more than 20 minutes straight, I put on my pretty leopard-printed sandals from Sorel
and proceed to stare at my feet with a dorky smile every step I take. They’re hairy! And really comfy! Contemplating getting these in zebra as well
