G-star women’s night
It’s been a busy couple of days – loads of schoolwork that I got to take my mind off of by attending lots of fun events. There was the G-star women’s night, a global event on which G-star stores throughout the world offered late-night shopping, fizzy drinks and the best customer service as usual. In the spotlight this evening was the G-star skinny jeans, a series of tapered jeans for different body types. I got to pick out my favourite pair, these, which I’ve been wearing ever since. I even wear them to chill around the house. G-star = comfortable jeans!
Grand opening of the Mexx Metropolitan in-store
Like I said at the end of this post, the new Mexx Metropolitan collection launched last Friday in the all new and improved Ghent store. The festivities included a live performance by the talented Candy Dulfer, a discovery of the beautifully designed shop and a few sips of champagne! Check it out for yourself whenever you’re in Ghent for Christmas shopping (Veldstraat 8-10).
I particulary love the Metropolitan line because it’s versatile, both wearable to go out or to go to work/presentations, and because of the use of luxurious fabrics. The prices still stay affordable. Win-win! Amongst my favourite items are this top, this dress and this shirt.
Zalando’s Magical Forest
The fact that Zalando now also caters to the Belgian market with their .be version of the online shop is reason enough to throw a party (not that you ever really need a reason to party) – a very aptly themed party at that. Wooden cabins, fresh pine trees, creepy stuffed animals and lots of mysterious smoke and lights transformed the Oona offices into Zalando’s Magical Forest. When we left the party, even the city was covered in snow. Those Oona girls always take it to the next level.
