I have trouble packing. Packing for work trips, packing for holidays, packing for over-night visits – it doesn’t matter how long I’m packing for, I always manage to underpack. Yes people, underpack. I always find myself bringing along limited clothing options that I never feel like wearing when it comes to it. So that’s why, when we took off for our road trip to Amsterdam, I stuffed my bag with as many different garments it could carry – this of course without taking into account that I would be the one actually carrying that bag #heavyload. Funny thing is that I somehow managed to wear the same pair of skinnies throughout our entire stay. For three days straight I paired different tops and shirts with the same dark purple J. Brand jeans, all while a pile of unworn shorts and skirts was left abandoned in the corners of my bag. Oh the irony. Being a total packing-clutz, I could use a pointer or two on how to pack smart. Golden tip, anyone?
I’m wearing deep purple coated skinnies by J. Brand, Zara TRF leather jacket, a striped shirt from Primark on Oxford St., suede clutch from Mexx, mirrored Ray Ban aviators and Belle by Sigerson Morrison ankle boots via Spartoo schoenen. Pics by Polienne.
