If there’s one item of clothing that is sure to get me from day to night, from city to beach and from summer to fall, it’s a pair of good cut-offs. The iconic Levi’s 501 is the perfect denim to transform into shorts and lends itself perfectly to a hardcore arts and crafts session. Sturdy fabric, dark wash and oversized fit are the key words to describe the 501. Over the years I have managed to collect three pairs of five-oh-ones. The first pair are a light blue denim that I found at a local thrift shop for the mere amount of two silver euros. Same goes for the second pair – these are a few sizes down and thus slightly more fitted, but I love their high-waistedness. The pair I’m wearing on the pictures above is the newest addition and I kindly got them after a visit to the Levi’s Store in the Kammenstraat in Antwerp. I had them customized (rolled up and rugged-up a bit) and I particularly fancy them with some stripes and leopard. Very London, very Alexa.
I’m wearing: striped top and burgundy bag from Pull&Bear, cut-offs c\o Levi’s, leopard coat from H&M’s Divided department, sunnies c\o Zalando, boots by Betty London via Spartoo schoenen.Pics by Polienne.
