Fancy Footworks

The perfect LBD is waiting for you in your closet, you’ve got your smoky eye routine down and your Pinterest board is bursting with party proof hair styles – but wait, what about the shoes? Choose wisely, keep in mind the occasion, your walking-on-high-heels skills and the hours you’ll be standing on your feet – whether you choose peep toe pumps, high heeled ankle boots or flat boots, you’ll be the queen of the dancefloor no matter what.
Nothing screams party! more than a serious pair of sky-high heels. No matter what you’re wearing on top, these simple black peep-toes match everything, and have the force to lift up every outfit (literally, yes). These are from Boohoo, are made out of faux suede and will cost you next to nothing –perfect for nights out that can get a bit messy (think spilled champagne and extreme twerking).

I find ankle boots to be a tad more comfortable to dance around on all night than the regular pump – they don’t give me blisters or sore soles as quickly as the high heels do, and that’s always a plus on festive nights out on the dance floor. Maruti kindly gifted me with this pair of sexy ankle boots just in time for the holidays – they’re called the Diablo and I’ll gladly wear them during the holidays. Despite their height, they’re quite comfy and soft, and they work as well on a short dress as they do with ripped jeans.

Give it a rest guys! Sometimes you just want to be footloose and carefree, and flat boots are the way to do this in. I adore these Chelsea boots by Pepe Jeans, have worn them on numerous occasions and would grab them to go out in on New Years eve in a heartbeat. They’re comfy but cool and the golden details give a festive feel to them.

Have you gotten your holiday outfits in order yet? I haven’t really, but I’m sure I’ll find something fitting to wear in my closet. For the Christmas dinner at my mom’s, I’ll probably wear my high heels, before changing into my UGG slippers and Hunkemoller onesie. Which type of shoes are you planning on wearing?
